My name is Kaye Alvarez and I enjoy saving you money! I started preparing tax returns over eleven years ago after taking H&R Block’s 12-week tax preparation course. I worked for HRB for a few years, ran one of their offices, and then opened my own tax business. I studied for and took the Enrolled Agent exams with the IRS over seven years ago. The most common IRS audit is done through letters. If you receive a letter from the IRS saying you owe additional taxes, please let a professional review the letter and tax return. The majority of the time, you do not owe the amount listed in the letter. For example, one client received a letter from the IRS saying they owed $1249.
